STATE LIKES DRUG CAMPUS IDEA.(Local)

The Cuomo administration is considering a dramatic plan to treat drug addicts on huge, campus- like centers built on federal land, state and private drug officials said Friday.

The plan, which could double the number of drug treatment beds available in the state, is under "active and serious consideration," by the state Anti-Drug Abuse Task Force, headed by Lt. Gov. Stan Lundine, said David Egner, a spokesman for Lundine.
