COLGATE OVERMATCHED WHEN WALTON CLIMBED ON BOARD.(Sports)

When Saturday night's halftime statistics showed Dwight Walton had 10 rebounds in the first half, there was a quick flip through Siena's media guide to check the single-game rebounding record.

During the 1976-77 season, Nelson Richardson took down 26 rebounds against Manhattan.

Walton finished with 18 rebounds against Colgate, but his effort cannot be understated. He is a strong, athletic 6-foot-5 forward, and he has plenty of experience playing near the basket.
