Ski: Camplin wins second world cup event
LAKE PLACID, Jan 17 AAP - Olympic aerials champion Alisa Camplin notched up her secondWorld Cup win in as many weeks to claim the lead in the World Cup series here today.
Camplin was tied with Belarussian rival Alla Tsuper after the first qualifying round,but surged to outright victory when she landed her triple twisting double in the secondround.
The clean jump netted her 98.33 points for an overall total of 187.43, ahead of China'sNina Li (182.01) and Tsuper (179.82).
