Main stories in ABC's World Today
SYDNEY, April 1 AAP - Main stories in ABC's World Today:
* The final result from the Tasmanian election 12 days ago has been counted and Tasmania
has a hung parliament. The Liberal and Labor Parties have won 10 seats each and the Greens
have the remaining five. Labor Party MPs are in a caucus meeting to decide what to do
next but it seems no major party is willing to do a deal with the Greens.
* As the federal government considers whether to extradite an Australian man on war
crimes charges, the Australian Federal Police meant to be watching him during the case
say they have lost him.
* Economists will use the Easter break to refine their predictions on whether the Reserve
Bank will raise interest rates next week.
